        The European Union (EU) offers multiple possibilities for smaller and bigger athletics clubs, organisations and institutions.
         
        The ADAE aims to support different projects in the process to get an european funding.

        Main information about Erasmus+

        • Erasmus+ supports the mobility for youth, education, training and sport in Europe
        • The 2021-2027 programme has an estimated budget of €26.2 billion.
        • The focus is placed on on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life.
           
        • Erasmus+ actions in the field of sport promote participation in sport, physical activity, and voluntary activities.
        • They are designed to tackle societal and sport-related challenges.
        • Opportunities are available for organisations under 3 Calls which address these challenges.

        Other possibilities

      • Besides Erasmus+, there are more, less known, funding opportunities provided by the European commission, the European Council and other european institutions. Here are some examples:

        • Pilot Project:
          an initiative of an experimental nature designed to test the feasibility of an action and its usefulness and lasts not more than two years.

           
        • Horizon Europe:
          the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation with a budget of €95.5 billion.
          It tackles climate change, helps to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and boosts the EU’s competitiveness and growth.
           
        • LIFE:
          the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action. Created in 1992, it has co-financed thousands of projects.
